With the increasing importance of color and whiteness measurement technology in industrial quality control, our company's launch of the YT-CM3000 spectrophotometer marks a significant technological leap in the field of whiteness and color detection. Compared to the previous generation product, the YT-ACM automatic colorimeter, the YT-CM3000 has achieved notable improvements in measurement principles, hardware configuration, functional expansion, and operational experience, better meeting the demands for high-precision, multi-scenario detection.
Measurement Principle and Precision Upgrade: From Colorimeter to Spectrophotometer
The YT-ACM, as an automatic colorimeter, measures color and whiteness based on light reflection principles, suitable for conventional detection scenarios. In contrast, the YT-CM3000 is upgraded to a spectrophotometer, utilizing an imported concave flat-field grating and a 128-unit photoelectric array sensor, combined with a pulsed xenon light source, enabling continuous spectral analysis within the 400–700 nm wavelength range. This allows the YT-CM3000 not only to measure color and whiteness but also to provide richer spectral data, with superior performance in repeatability (≤0.05 ΔE*) and inter-instrument agreement (≤0.30 ΔE*).
Hardware Configuration and Performance Enhancement
The YT-CM3000 features comprehensive hardware upgrades:
Display System: The screen has been upgraded from a 5-inch IPS to a 7-inch IPS high-definition touchscreen with a resolution of 1024×600, offering more intuitive and smooth operation.
Optical System: Equipped with a pulsed xenon lamp, it supports automatic calibration for D65 and C light sources and includes ultraviolet cutoff filters (395nm, 420nm) for precise control of UV radiation, enabling one-touch testing of fluorescent whitening materials.
Measurement Adaptability: Offers dual test apertures of Φ28mm/Φ34mm, supporting a wider range of sample measurements, suitable for various forms such as powders, fibers, and sheet materials.
Functional Expansion and Intelligent Operation
The YT-CM3000 further expands its functionality, supporting:
More Color Systems: In addition to conventional CIE whiteness and Hunter systems, it can measure parameters such as L*u*v, Cab, hab in the CIE1976 uniform color space, as well as reflection optical density (Dx, Dy, Dz), meeting international standard testing requirements.
Dual Operation Modes: Supports independent touchscreen operation and PC software connectivity, allowing users to flexibly choose based on usage scenarios, with enhanced data storage and processing capabilities.
System Upgrades and Data Interconnectivity: Retains features such as USB/WiFi data transmission and cloud synchronization, and supports online system upgrades for future functional expansion and maintenance.
